Registered Certification Body – Japan

Certification for Radio Systems and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment in Japan

Japanese Market Approval Under the EU–Japan MRA

Products placed on the Japanese market must comply with national radio and telecommunications regulations.

Phoenix Testlab is recognized as a Registered Certification Body (RCB) under the EU–Japan Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA).

We are authorized to issue approval certificates for:

  • Specified Radio Systems (Radio Law)
  • Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (RCB TTE)

This enables manufacturers to obtain Japanese certification directly through Phoenix Testlab. All required testing for Japan can be performed in our laboratories or in partner laboratories recognized by Phoenix Testlab, ensuring an efficient and coordinated certification process.
