Do you develop audio, video, telecommunications, or IT equipment? Or are you responsible for the approval of such products? Then IEC/EN 62368-1 is of central importance to you

This standard replaces the previous standards EN 60065 and EN 60950-1 and is based on a hazard-based safety approach. It applies to a wide range of modern devices with digital functions and takes into account current technologies such as liquid cooling, USB-C, lithium batteries, and more.

This seminar will provide you with a sound overview of the 3rd edition (2020) of the standard as well as an outlook on the 4th edition (2024), which will bring additional requirements and clarifications.

Target audience

Professionals from the fields of development, design, marketing, approval and product certification who deal with the electrical safety of AV, IT or telecommunications equipment.
