E mark – (e1/E1)

Phoenix Testlab is recognized by the Federal Motor Transport Authority as a technical service for testing according to Directive 2009/19/EC (component testing) and ECE Regulation No. 10, Rev. 4 (component testing).

For components that are used in a vehicle, a design approval or type approval is usually required. In addition to the ECE test mark (E1) from the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, there is also the test mark for vehicles and vehicle parts according to European directives. Finally, (e1) is awarded by the Federal Motor Transport Authority in Germany.

Within the framework of e1/E1 marking, Phoenix Testlab offers the following services:

Our laboratories are recognized by the Kraftfahrtbundesamt (KBA, Federal Motor Transport Authority) as a technical service within the framework of e/E marking for the following EC/ECE directives according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:

Electrodynamic oscillation test systems with climatic or temperature testing from 20 kN to 300 kN
