We are creating a new position: Head of Sales & Marketing m/f/d — and we’re looking for you!
Your Tasks
- Building and Shaping: You will align the activities of the Sales & Marketing department consistently with the company’s goals and significantly contribute to strengthening our competitiveness and increasing our brand awareness.
- Analysis and Potential Assessment: You identify market potentials, develop business cases together with technical departments, and prepare strategic decision templates for the management to open up future-oriented business areas.
- Responsibility: You report directly to the management and are a permanent member of our company’s five-person steering committee. You plan and are responsible for sales and contribution margins.
- Success: You will be accountable for our top 10 customers. You thrive in growing our company turnover with double digit growth year on year.
- Leadership Scope: You lead a department consisting of external sales representatives and supporting marketing functions.
- Networking: You are present at trade fairs, in associations, and with key accounts. You continuously expand your network — nationally and internationally. You like working within a complex international matrix organization, with the ability to actively manage multiple internal stakeholders and interests
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies in Sales Management, Sales Engineering, Technical Management & Sales, or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of experience in leading professionals and managers, and in selling technical testing and certification services.
- Proven success in selling complex services, software, or products.
- Experience in customer-centric marketing, lead generation, and brand strategy.
- A working style characterized by personal responsibility, goal orientation, and commitment.
- Drive and ambition for success, combined with experience in building and expanding successful sales and marketing structures.
- A strong network within the industry, including connections to independent and in-house laboratories, supporting both organic and inorganic growth initiatives in a buy-and-build context
- Experience in a private equity or investor-backed environment, ideally with ambitious growth targets and a dynamic decision-making culture.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills at all levels in both German and English.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
