Medical Technology - Environmental Simulation

Phoenix Testlab has a great reputation to live up to, so we pursue both innovation and quality for testing in the medical sector. In 2004, we expanded our environmental testing area to twice its previous size and we now use it to test entire units and systems. Clients from all over the world appreciate our approach and competence in the field of environmental simulation.

The extension of the environmental laboratory illustrates that at Phoenix Testlab, complete assemblies can be tested for vibration, temperature and sealing.

Laboratory equipment

• Two electrodynamic vibration systems with
  superimposed climates (33.4 kN and 55 kN)
• Three electrodynamic vibration systems with
  superimposed temperatures (55 kN up to 105 kN)
• Electrodynamic vibration systems at an ambient temperature (21 kN)
• Temperature and climatic chambers in combination
  with sunlight simulation: 0.5 m³ up to 19 m³,
  rate of change 1-10 K/min.
• Shock chambers: air-air, option with defined climate:
  0.1 m³ up to 7 m³
• Three salt mist chambers: 0.5 m³; 1 m³ and 11 m³
• Dust and spray water chambers (IP code):
  0.5 m³ up to 11 m³
• Two 4 K contaminant gas chambers
