Railway Technology - EMC |
 |
| |
The Phoenix Testlab EMC test laboratory is continually being upgraded to the latest state-of-the art technology. It is optimally equipped to meet the specific EMC test requirements for railway applications.
Take advantage of our facilities which enable us to carry out the complete range of railway-related tests (EMC testing and environmental simulation) in a single test laboratory.
We have brought together all of the experts needed for this in one single laboratory, offering you true application-related solutions. |

In-Situ tests |
 |
| |
|
An in-situ test is an on-site test of the test object. Machines and systems too large or too heavy to be tested in the laboratory are checked this way.
For this purpose, the EMC team uses mobile EMC measuring equipment, which is able to record or simulate all relevant EMC phenomena occurring in machines and systems on site.
Mobile EMC measuring equipment:
- Interference measuring receiver according to CISPR
- Burst and surge generator
- Artificial mains network up to 200 A per phase
Professional on-site team to resolve EMC problems
Relevant standards include:
- DIN EN 55011 (Radiated and conducted interference
emissions "on site")
- DIN EN 61000-4-4 (Burst testing)
- DIN EN 61000-4-2 (ESD testing)

Notified Body according to EMC Directive 2004/108/EC |
 |
| |
Phoenix Testlab acts as a Notified Body (EMC Directive 2004/108/EC) for all devices, systems and installations for which harmonised standards do not exist or which do not conform to existing standards. We assess whether your devices have been built in accordance with all of the protective requirements specified in EMC Directive 2004/108/EC.
Phoenix Testlab is able to carry out the assessment of device compliance with the EMC Directive's protection requirements for an entire product family if this includes several variations of one device and individual type testing according to European standards would not be economical.
This also applies to devices which cannot be tested in accordance with the relevant standards due to their size or location.
